To Be a Young, Black, Queer Woman in Information Technology

April 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

New emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion has arisen in multiple industries across many workforces. While efforts have been made to tackle systemic barriers in different professions, Information Technology is still dominated by older, white, cis, heterosexual men.

Arielle Clark (she, her, hers), a Black, queer, cis woman, discusses her experiences and how to navigate as a young professional in Information Technology, from passive racism to eye-opening experiences regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field.
