Let’s Talk Talent
February 29 @ 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
Population growth is a key indicator of economic growth and success, and a metric where Louisville is working hard to stay competitive with peer cities. While Louisville is affordable and has many of the amenities top talent looks for, we, like many cities, face several challenges that may deter talent from relocating. As we strive to share the strong quality of life assets our region has and ways we are addressing underlying issues, GLI is bringing together a panel of experts that will discuss ongoing and new efforts and initiatives to keep our city growing, thriving, and attracting top talent.
Hear from Louisville Metro Chief of Police Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel on how her team is working on effective recruitment strategies to address officer shortages while building a reputation of public safety. Attendees will also hear from Louisville Downtown Partnership’s Executive Director, Rebecca Fleischaker, on how the team is building a thriving downtown and utilizing our downtown districts as a tool to retain and attract talent.
